Who BoviNest is for

Cattle ranches and operations across Mexico and Latin America: ranch hands, foremen, veterinarians, and managers. Each role sees only what they need in the field, clinic, and office — even with spotty connectivity at the chute.

Ranch hand

Scans the RFID ear tag at the chute and creates text or audio reports, with or without signal.

Foreman

Registers new ear tags, reassigns animals between pens, and supervises field work.

Veterinarian

Reviews the clinical inbox with the AI's preliminary analysis, prescribes treatment, and closes the case.

Manager / Administrator

Oversees the dashboard, staff, membership, and SINIIGA export.

What BoviNest already does

Features you can use today in the Android app on your ranch.

Inventory

Animal lifecycle

FDX-B RFID (15 digits) or visual SINIIGA ear tag (12 digits), pen, breed, sex, and weight; tag reassignment without losing history.

RFID / Hardware

Bluetooth reader at the chute

The RFID wand automatically triggers the animal's profile on scan (native BLE reader).

Offline

Signal-free logging

Text or audio reports are saved locally and sync automatically once connectivity returns.

Clinic / AI

AI-powered clinical inbox (Gemini)

A multi-agent pipeline suggests a differential diagnosis before the veterinarian reviews the case.

Roles

Access by role

Ranch hands, foremen, veterinarians, and managers see only the screens and actions that apply to them.

SINIIGA

Compliance export

Excel file with the official columns (RFID, birth date, sex, breed, health status, SINIIGA) ready for inspection.

How BoviNest is used day to day

A real workflow: field → clinic → management, in one app.

Before heading out

Quick check

The manager reviews pens and inventory from the phone before assigning work.

At the chute

Scan and report

The ranch hand or foreman scans the RFID and logs symptoms by text or audio, with or without signal.

Back with signal

Automatic sync

The app uploads pending reports and audio without manual intervention.

In the clinical inbox

AI triage

The veterinarian sees Gemini's preliminary analysis, listens to the audio, and logs the treatment.

At close

Management report

The manager exports to SINIIGA and reviews the ranch's membership status.

Android first

BoviNest is available today for Android. iOS is not part of the initial launch.

What's coming

We're expanding BoviNest with features that make day-to-day ranch work easier. What you see here will arrive in upcoming app updates.

Full-history animal profiles

Coming soon

See an animal's life in one place: movements, photos, treatments, and exits with reason — beyond today's inventory snapshot.

Reproduction, weighing, and grazing

Coming soon

Track breeding cycles, weight records, and pasture management from the same app you already use at the chute.

Advanced clinical enhancements

Coming soon

Richer clinical workflows built on the inbox and AI you already have today — designed for veterinarians and ranch managers.

Proactive herd health alerts

Coming soon

When several animals in a pen show similar symptoms, the system notifies your team so you can act before the issue spreads.

Open BoviNest from email and messages

In progress

Tap a link in an email or message and land on the right screen in the Android app — no manual search for the animal.

PorciNest (same Nest line)

Coming soon

The same Nest platform will expand to swine farming. Today our focus is cattle ranching.

Frequently asked questions

Does BoviNest work without signal in the field?

Yes. At the chute you can log animals and reports even without data service. Everything is saved on the phone and syncs automatically when signal returns — you won't lose reports or audio. Field work doesn't stop because of connectivity.

What platform does BoviNest support today?

BoviNest is built for Android first: it's the phone most teams use in the field and at the chute. iOS is not part of the initial launch; when we expand platforms, we'll say so clearly.

Does BoviNest export data for SINIIGA?

Yes. You generate an export with the official columns (ID, birth date, sex, breed, health status, and more) ready for inspection or cattle movement. Managers get traceability without building spreadsheets by hand.

What roles can my team have in the app?

Ranch hands log at the chute; foremen manage ear tags and pens; veterinarians work the clinical inbox; managers see the dashboard, staff, and exports. Everyone sees and does only what fits their job.

Do I need a special RFID reader?

BoviNest works with Bluetooth wand readers compatible with the FDX-B standard. You can also enter the ID manually when you don't have the wand handy.

How does BoviNest handle my data's security?

Each ranch's data is isolated: your team only sees your operation's information. Roles limit screens and actions so sensitive data doesn't spread unnecessarily.

How much does BoviNest cost?

Pricing is a per-ranch subscription tailored to your operation. See /pricing for how it works; for a concrete quote, contact us on WhatsApp or email — we don't publish a fixed price table on this site.

Does BoviNest work for other species?

Today BoviNest is 100% for cattle ranching. Later, the Nest line will include PorciNest for swine; for now, all our focus is on the cattle ranch.
